Zuratkul NP

The national park “Zyuratkul” with a total area of 88249 hectares is located in the Southern Urals. The maximum length of the park from north to south is about 40 km, from west to east – about 24 km.
On the territory of the park Lake Zyuratkul is situated – the only high mountain lake on the western slope of the Southern Urals (724 m above sea level). It is the only lake in the Southern Urals that lies on the western slope of the Ural range. In addition to the lake, the park is rich in many mountain ranges, including Zyuratkul (length 8km, height 1175.2m), Nurgush (height 1406m).
