Winter in Cappadocia is unpredictable, but snow usually falls in late December. In recent years, winters have become warmer and almost without snow. Snow does not stay very long and quickly melts, as in the daytime the temperature reaches +2, and sometimes even +5 degrees. At night, the temperature drops below zero, sometimes even to -15, -20 degrees. Strong frosts are rare here, but in January and February there are also such days, because the climate of Cappadocia is continental. At this time, there are almost no tourists here, so there is a feeling that all this winter beauty belongs only to you and every moment is filled with a non-passing feeling of unity with nature.
